service is always quick, meals come fast. chips are warm & tasty. loved the old downtown Casa, as they made better choices using vegetable oils instead of other unhealthy animal renderings. wish Oak View would do the same. food tasted better downtown even though the recipes were the same. haven't been going as much for this reason. still love the 2 for 1 Monday margaritas.

Great service!!! Quick!! Recommend coming on Mondays for the 2 for 1 Margarita Mondays!!! Chile relleno is delicious and the grilled chicken taco with guacamole is the best!!!!!

Total comfort food. The lightest tamales I've ever had. The chili rellenos were super fluffy too. Got the Machaca, asada and carnita taco. Wish they had a vegetarian tamales. I recommend al a carte to try lots of their dishes. The beans and rice were super good too.

This place has been in Oak View for a long time, Local favorite spot . Reasonable $$ and abundant portions. Excellent Authentic Mexican food . House by the Lake/Casa de Largo. It’s about 10 min to the entrance to Lake Castisa.

One of my favorite mexican restaurants in the county. Closest I've seen in California to the traditional 'Tex-Mex' I miss from Texas. The 'spicy' salsa is not, it's just delicious. I love the enchilada tamale combo with rice and beans. The whole plate is basically covered with enchilada sauce. Yum!! Been coming her for years and the food is always prepared the same. There is a lot to be said for consistency.
